EBay Sign Up How to Register to Bid on eBay or Sell on eBay
To buy or sell and make money on eBay, you must first open an eBay account. Which is free, very easy, and takes less than 5 minutes. Here's how to register on eBay:
Go to
eBay
. Right-click the link and open the eBay website in a new window, so that you'll still have this instruction page available.
Click on the red Register button at the top right. That will bring you to the eBay registration page. It looks a bit long, but don't worry, it's the only page you'll have to fill in.
Proceed to fill in the form. For the eBay user ID, you'll have to think of something unique to you -- it's what you'll be using to login into your eBay account.
Click on the Register button at the bottom of the page when done.
EBay will send you to the following page.
Check your email at the email address you entered in the eBay sign up form. It will look something like this:
This is the last step: just click on the Activate Now button.
That's it! You'll get the following page, welcoming you as a new eBay member.
You can now proceed to buy and sell on eBay, right from this page itself. In fact, while you're here, why not see whether you can pick up something you need cheaply. It's very easy to bid for items on eBay, and will give you a good picture of how buying and selling on eBay is carried out.
