Opening a Clickbank account, so as to be able to make money as a Clickbank affiliate, is free and takes all of 5 minutes. Here're the steps:
Go to
Clickbank
. Right-click the link and open the Clickbank website in a new window, so you'll still have this instruction page available.
At the top right, there is a Sign Up link. Click on it to bring you to the Clickbank Signup Form as follows:
Select your country of residence, and fill in the rest of the blanks. Those marked with red * must be filled in.
Make sure that your address is correct -- you want to be able to receive your checks! Your payee name should also be something your bank recognises.
The Account Nickname is important too, as it will be used in all your affiliate links promoting Clickbank merchant products. Choose carefully, as you cannot change it later. You'd have to think of something really unique -- most names have been taken.
When you've completed the form, take note of the email address you filled in -- you'll need it in a short while. Then click on the Submit button that you see at the bottom of the page.
Clickbank will send you to the following page:
At the same time, they would have sent an email to the email address you specified in the previous form, listing a Confirmation Code. Example:
Go to your email account, and copy the confirmation code. Paste it into the Clickbank Signup Form:
Enter the image text and click on the Finish button.
That will bring you to the last page of the Clickbank Signup Form telling you that your new account has been created. Store your Account Nickname and password safely.
That's it -- all done! You can now proceed to promote any of the products listed in Clickbank.
The Clickbank account you just created allows you to be both affiliate as well as merchant. Which means, if in future you want to sell digital products, you can just use this same account to do so.
